A winter storm expected to pound Maryland and the eastern seaboard with up to two feet of snow over the weekend has prompted the NFL to move back the Bears-Ravens kick to 4:15pm (eastern time, 3:15 central) on Sunday.
The Bears flew out Friday evening, rather than the customary Saturday flight, to avoid the weather.

According to John Mullin of Chicago Sportsnet.com, high-placed sources within the Bears organization have confirmed that Lovie Smith will return as Bears head coach in 2010. Apparently, the feeling is that the remaining contract (two years, $11 million), injuries, and the looming lockout/strike in 2011 are out of his control.
